We get this question asked a lot, unfortunately electrical work is very difficult to estimate over the phone. Compare it to calling a vehicle mechanic and asking them to diagnose your problem and give you a quote over the phone without even popping open the hood. Like with mechanic work, electrical work has many factors and variables at play to look over and because of that the only way to get a firm idea of how much something may cost is to have a qualified electrician come out and actually investigate the issue to give an accurate quote.
